What is the PortLog value assessment?
To help you evaluate the benefits of upgrading to PortLog Pro, we recommend working together on a value assessment using data from your Veson IMOS Platform and from PortLog.
Why do a value assessment?
Our aim is to provide you with a robust value assessment that clearly demonstrates how PortLog improves the accuracy of your voyage estimates for the purpose of better freight/demurrage pricing.
What’s included?
Estimates vs. actuals analysis (port stay portion)
The output will help you to assess how much of your unpaid port time is sufficiently accounted for under our existing voyage estimation process, using your standard SHINC/SHEX factors.
Coverage analysis
We check the expected coverage/return rate for using the Veson IMOS Platform integration, based on the trades you have performed previously. This will also help us assess the level of data mapping required for the web hook integration.
Accuracy analysis
We’ll test how accurately PortLog would have estimated unpaid port time relative to the actual outcome of each port call.
